The Temple near the Ulhas River

There is an almost abandoned place near Kalyan Station. A temple at the bank of the River Ulhas(aka Kalyan ki Khaadi). This place can become a beautiful sunset spot if it is maintained properly. Located near the bank of Ulhas river between Kalyan and Thakurli Station. So many of us have seen the place while traveling through the local train but I don't think any of us have thought to visit the place.

I visited to this place with my friend all to see what!! Dirty water from the river and the unbearable smell from the river, to see the broken public benches. But trust me its a beautiful place for a photographer like me who can see the beauty of the place in spite of its dirtiness.

The river which is near to the temple almost have become a drainage. The waste from the industries ,drainage from household and also the dump near the river bank at Ganesh Ghat, the waste from where is dumped into the river. Sometimes the smell from the river is unbearable. And I do not think if there are any aquatic lives present in the river.  If the government looks over this place this can become a beautiful place for relaxation.

And also the way to the temple is all dirty. People poop on the way to the temple. On one way they are all religious and the other side of the religiousness can be seen on the way to this temple.

You have to cross the railway track to reach this place. And Indian railway tracks as we know how dirty they are. Its a humble request from my side to the KDMC to look into this and do something about it.
